# CODESYS Edge Gateway verwenden

Um das CODESYS Edge Gateway mit den powerIO-Systemen und dem CODESYS Automation Server zu koppeln, ist es erforderlich, das Gateway zunächst in den Wartungsmodus zu versetzen. Im Anschluss wird im Artikel erläutert, welche Schritte dafür notwendig sind.

## Edge-Gateway Maintenance Mode aktivieren/deaktivieren

1. Zur IP-Adresse Ihres powerIO-Geräts navigieren: `http://<IP>:8080`
2. Auf das Feld "Passwort" klicken und sich mit Enter anmelden oder auf "LOGIN" klicken.

3\. Zu "Applications" navigieren

4\. Das Zahnradsymbol neben der Anwendung muss angeklickt werden.

**5. Die "Gateway" Konfiguration auswählen**

6\. Nun passen Sie die Einstellungen in der "Gateway" Konfigurationsdatei an.

7\. Übernehmen Sie die Einstellung mit klick auf "SAVE"

8\. Starten Sie die Anwendung neu, damit die Konfiguration übernommen wird.

## Connect Edge-Gateway

1\. Navigiere zu "Tools"

2\. Wähle "Edge Gateway" und anschließend "Connect Edge Gateway"

3. Verbindung mit dem Gerät herstellen

4\. Überprüfe den Status des Edge-Gateways

Im "Konfigurationsmodus" wird angezeigt, ob der Wartungsmodus aktiv ist. Wenn er inaktiv ist, aktiviere ihn wie oben beschrieben. Andernfalls sind keine Konfigurationen möglich.\

5\. Server URL angeben und auf "Check /Refresh" klicken

6\. Es öffnet sich ein weiteres Fenster. Hier müssen die Anmeldedaten eingegeben werden.&#x20;

7\. Nun kann ein Name für das Edge-Gateway vergeben werden. Mit Klick auf "Connect to Server", wird die Verbindung zum Automation Server hergestellt.
