# Create diagnostic file

For the file to be downloaded, pop-ups must be allowed by the browser for the site. If this is not the case, a small icon will appear in the address bar when clicking the button. You can confirm it there.

### Create diagnostic file for firmware version >= **3.9**

1\. Navigate to the IP address of your powerIO device (<http://IP:8080>)

2\. Click on the "Password" field and sign in with Enter or click "LOGIN"

3\. Click the gear icon at the top right

4\. A menu will open. Select "Diagnostic" here

5\. Download the diagnostic file by clicking "DOWNLOAD DIAGNOSTIC FILE"

4\. A menu will open. Select "Diagnostic" here

5\. Download the diagnostic file by clicking "DOWNLOAD DIAGNOSTIC FILE"
