Function description

General

This function block is used to input the designation of a fire damper and to generate the message xAlarm

Aggregate fault xAlarm

The aggregate fault xAlarm is activated ( = TRUE ) when: The fire damper is not fully open ( xOpen = FALSE ). ( Background: Any fire damper that is not fully open represents a faulty condition during normal operation ). In all other cases the collective fault is xAlarm is not activated ( = FALSE ).
