## Übersicht

Als **Applications** werden Software-Komponenten bezeichnet, welche auf der powerIO®-Steuerung H1.M100 und auf der powerIO®-Box T1.B100 installiert werden können.\
Die **Applications** werden über das Webinterface der powerIO®-Steuerung H1.M100 oder powerIO®-Box T1.B100 installiert.

Durch die Aufsplittung von **Applications** und **Firmware** haben Sie als Anwender den Vorteil, dass Sie flexibel unterschiedliche Versionen installieren können und unter anderem Ihre Hardware um weitere Funktionen ergänzen können. Dadurch können Sie beispielsweise neben der CODESYS® Installation, auch einen Cloud-Adapter installieren und sind somit (I)IoT-ready.

Die **Applications** werden ständig erweitert und aktualisiert.
